Claude does not generate video on any plan: it writes, researches and plans. Connect Cliptude and that is enough to get a finished video. Every route uses the same server URL, https://mcp.cliptude.com/mcp, and the same Cliptude account and credits. No API key is needed for the connector: you sign in with Google.

How Claude directs the video
For Faceless Documentary, Top 10 and Avatar Video templates, Claude can plan every visual itself: the footage search for each sentence, every map and chart with its own data, the transitions and the sound effects. It checks the plan with check_plan, which costs nothing, locks it, and Cliptude builds exactly that plan.
Before it gives you the link, Claude can open the finished video in the editor and look at every scene with view_scenes, then ask Cliptude Agent to replace anything off-topic and render again.

- Ask Claude to research your topic and write the narration, and read it before you approve it.

- Claude follows the job, checks the scenes, and gives you the link to the finished MP4.
Limits to know first
- Videos run from 6 minutes to an hour, in 16:9 for YouTube. Cliptude does not make Shorts or Reels.
- claude.ai cannot send a file from your computer; upload your own voiceover in the Cliptude wizard, the CLI, Claude Code or the local server in Claude Desktop.
- Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector. Cliptude has no free plan and no free credits.
